Louis Vuitton Summer Party

Gala Dinner · Masía Montcorp, Riudarenes (Girona) · 2018

Corporate summer party for Louis Vuitton, an LVMH maison. Team evening at Masía Montcorp, Riudarenes (Girona), produced to the visual codes and discretion standards of the luxury sector.

The challenge

An informal evening without losing the maison's code.

Producing a corporate event for a luxury brand does not consist of applying a logo over a standard proposal. The luxury client has a closed aesthetic code — palette, texture, typography, savoir-faire — that the internal guest recognises immediately and that any dissonance reveals. The editorial challenge of this summer party was precisely that: bringing the format down from a formal gala dinner to a team summer evening, without the proposal losing its premium brand reading at any point in the journey.

Added to that was the privacy restriction. The maison does not open the door of its internal event to the outside. Production is handled under strict confidentiality, without public images of the team, without social media content during the event, and with close control of suppliers and service personnel at the venue. Every production decision had to meet the dual criterion of aesthetic rigour and absolute discretion.

The third axis was the calendar. A summer party falls in the period of the year when Barcelona concentrates corporate end-of-season events, and centrally located urban venues with a profile compatible with the brand are saturated. The choice of space conditioned the rest of the project.

Bacus's response

A discreet urban venue and a script of a night in the maison's code.

Bacus structured the evening in three movements at a central Barcelona urban venue selected for its proportions, interior terrace, and compatibility with the brand's code. The choice of space was finalised after a round of technical site visits with cross-referenced criteria: capacity for the team's headcount, possibility of full privatisation for the duration, an architectural reading that conversed with the Louis Vuitton universe without requiring heavy scenic intervention, and a service operation compatible with the maison's standards.

Artistic direction worked from the brand's chromatic and textural universe — a range of warm browns, contained gold, off-white, with leather as a tactile reference — without resorting to the monogram or explicit signage. The client wanted the team to walk into the venue and recognise the code without seeing it written. Warm lighting at low colour temperature, tablecloths and furniture in a neutral palette, seasonal florals in low compositions, and a line of textile detail capturing the texture of the maison's classic leather goods.

The evening's script was ordered in three blocks: a welcome aperitif with author cocktails, a seated dinner in sharing format to encourage conversation across departments, and an open after-dinner with a DJ set until close. The gastronomic proposal was built with a Barcelona premium catering partner, with a menu of local produce interpreted in a contemporary Mediterranean key. Bacus coordinated overall artistic direction, venue technical production, service operations, and scene direction on the day.

The experience

The team enters a space they recognise without having to decipher it.

The arrival at the venue was designed as a filtered, silent access. The team guest enters from the street, crosses a privatised reception, leaves the noise of the city behind, and appears in the aperitif space with the evening already under way. The transition from the urban exterior to the maison atmosphere is resolved in a few metres and without intermediate signage.

The aperitif opens with author cocktails served at the bar and free circulation. The room temperature, quality of the drink, service personnel profile, and sound design work as a block to place the guest in the code from the first minute. The move to dinner happens without a formal announcement: the dining room opens and the team transitions naturally to the seated space.

Dinner is served in sharing format on a long table to encourage cross-conversation between departments that rarely coincide outside the operational framework of the store. The after-dinner extends with a DJ set on the venue's interior terrace until close. The team leaves with the feeling of having attended an evening that the maison worked to the same standard it applies to its product — without the brand having imposed itself on the experience at any point in the journey.

The result

An internal evening the maison keeps in its calendar.

The summer party closed as a discreet internal act, without public images and without external coverage, in line with the maison's privacy policy for this type of format. The client's reading was that the event sustained the brand code from beginning to end without requiring explicit branding, and that the production resolved the discretion requirement without sacrificing aesthetic standard.

With this production Bacus consolidated its positioning as an event agency for the fashion and luxury sector in Barcelona — a segment of the market where the barrier to entry is not budgetary but editorial: the luxury client works with studios that understand the code and immediately rules out those who do not.

Frequently asked questions · Louis Vuitton Summer Party

What readers ask after this case.

  • Bacus produces corporate summer parties in Barcelona for luxury brands under three principles: selection of a central urban venue compatible with the client's aesthetic code, artistic direction that works the brand reading through palette and texture without resorting to explicit branding, and service operations with validated personnel to guarantee the discretion required by the maison. The typical brief is worked four to six months in advance and closes venue, format, and gastronomic proposal in the first weeks of the project.

  • The fashion and luxury client operates with a closed aesthetic code that any dissonance reveals immediately. A generalist agency resolves the event's operations but rarely manages the brand reading to the standard a maison requires: exact palette, coherent texture, floor personnel profile, quality of product in glass and on plate, pace of service. The premium of working with an agency specialising in luxury brand corporate event production is offset by the guarantee that the brand code holds from beginning to end without requiring corrective intervention by the client.

  • For a luxury brand corporate event in Barcelona, Bacus works with centrally located urban venues offering full privatisation, singular spaces with an architectural reading compatible with the client's code, boutique hotel interior terraces, and heritage properties in the city centre. Venue choice depends on headcount, event format, the brand's privacy requirements, and aesthetic compatibility with the client's code. The luxury maison immediately rules out venues with heavy own branding that might interfere with the event's reading.

  • Yes. Bacus produces internal events for premium brands in Barcelona and Madrid under strict confidentiality protocols: prior validation of suppliers and service personnel, content management on social media during the event, access control at the venue, and a close-out operation that generates no public image of the act. For the fashion, luxury, and premium retail sector, discretion is not a commercial option — it is a contract condition.
